The Giacometti Institute is now open to the public in Paris.
Located at 5 Rue Victor Schœlcher in the 14th arrondissement, which is the Montparnasse neighbourhood where Giacometti lived and worked throughout his career.
The Institute is the reference place for Giacometti’s work and an art history center including exhibitions, research and pedagogy.
It is housed in a listed building, the private mansion and former studio of the artist himself. The decor has been preserved and restored giving the visitors overall experience pure authenticity.
Giacometti is one of Eyer’s favourite artists and one of the most important in the modern art historical canon. It is a must see if you are in PAris!
